with this you get 2 battery packs and the cradle to charge the controllers in, the battery packs don't need rechargeable batteries they have them built in i was a little confused but the red led means its charging flashing red means its half charged and green means its full charged.

if you don't want to keep buying batteries this is great and it comes in white and black.

not had this too long yet, but arrived quicker than expected, works as intended, still charges even if the xbox is off, the batteries fit fine. no problems i can report so far.

one thing i would say (not a problem) is that the lights on the charger are actually bigger than the picture shows. also, i was sort of confused what colour meant what, but somebody else on here has posted in their review the answer to that.
