How to Turn Rapid Fire On/Off:When you turn the controller on, rapid fire feature is off, as well as the 4th player LED, which is the rapid fire indicator. To turn rapid fire on, hold down LT, and press the SYNC button (Just press, not hold). The 4th player LED will turn on, meaning rapid fire is on as well. To turn rapid fire on and off during gaming, hold down LT, and press the SYNC button once. The controller will remember which mode you were last in prior to shutting down the controller, or turning rapid fire off, so there is no need to cycle through all the modes to get back to what you were using before.How to Change Rapid Fire Modes: To switch through the 12 rapid fire modes, first turn rapid on, then press the SYNC button. Do not hold the SYNC button down, a firm press and immediate release will suffice. The 4th player LED will blink to indicate which rapid fire mode is set. One blink for mode 1, two blinks for mode 2, and so on. Make sure to allow a second or two after the LED stops blinking before pressing any buttons.
